For cyclists, the picturesque and varied landscape from simple and flat family routes to sweaty mountain trails has everything to offer. Big and small cyclists, seasoned mountain bikers and racing cyclists come on the countless cycle routes to their speed.A true hit is the 345-kilometer-long Salzkammergut cycle path, ...... which leads from St. Wolfgang am Wolfgangsee via Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern to the idyllic UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hallstatt and to Obertraun. The return journey towards Wolfgangsee can be started via the Traunsee, the Attersee and the Mondsee. The bike path leads through the largest sights in one of Austria's most beautiful landscapes.
Downhill course Feuerkogel
If you are looking for an adrenalin kick, you will find it with 100% certainty at the Feuerkogel in the Traunsee region. 1,600 vertical meters and 5.6 kilometers are the keywords that describe this experience of a mountain bike downhill track pinpoint. Upwards it goes with the Feuerkogel cable car, which carries all Downhill fans in the summer months to the entrance of the Downhillstrecke. After the successful departure is incidentally a free bike washing facility available!
